One Year Pandemic as A Teacher in East Indies

It’s 8th August 2021, more than a year when pandemic started a year ago. Teaching online is almost be the part of teacher’s life and student as well. We don’t know what happened in the world today because tomorrow is mystery as today would be a history so I write this to be my story.

As a middle school teacher, teaching online is not an easy thing to do. I don’t know what other teachers done for it but I only say based on what I did and what I want to do. The teaching method that I used from the early pandemic, in every semester, was always changed. The first time of teaching online, I never mulled about some things that would be significant to teach online. The duration, students’ enthusiasm and many other problems come along over time.

I used Instagram TV at the first time, mumbling many things spending the time then I realized that didn’t work. I cannot teach the student “onlinely” like I’m teaching them in the real classes. There are many things that must be considered. Learned from that, I have had tried some methods and social media platform to teach online effectively. It’s still in progress, but I only hope this pandemic going to be an end. Teaching in the school is more fun than do it online.
